She's got the Look
There is a new challenge starting at Try it on Tuesday
This time we want you to create something connected with our theme:
She's got the Look.
Is it her style, her face, smile, eyes that give that special look.
Pop over to the main blog to see gorgeous inspirational pieces of my teamies.
My take on the theme is an art journal page made with gelli plate using magazine Resist Technique and I have to admit I'm quite pleased with that one.
I have followed this video.
I am also saying Good Bye to all my teamies over at Try it on Tuesday.
Thank you girls for all the inspirations and encouraging words you have always had for me.
Thank you for your friendship!

Paris, Paris
Today we kick off the new challenge at Try it on Tuesday
This time our theme is Destinations.
Where would you like to go....
Europe, Africa, America , Far away places or stay close to home .....the choice is yours.
As always what you make, the style , mediums. materials you use
is entirely up to yourselves.
I have prepared a tag about Paris, the city I have wanted to visit ever since.
I have used the gelli print for the background.
It isn't perfect but I find it quite interesting.

Let's fake it!
Hi! Today we start a new challenge at Stamps and Stencils.
This time our host is Toni and she has chosen the theme: Let's fake it! for us.
She'd like to see your projects that include at least one faux finish of our choice.
Produce anything you like but please include some stamping or stencilling or both and join us in the fun!
Pop over to the main blog and get inspired by my wonderful teamies.
I have prepared a ,,metal'' tag full of gears, cogs and screws.
As you can see almost every part of the tag is a chipboard.
I started with stenciling some heavy body structure paste to the tag.
Next step was covering all with black gesso.
Some parts were stamped and embossed with copper metallic powder.
Others covered with rust effect agent set.
The background was painted with camouflage paint set.
Starting to put everything together.
I wanted more rust so I rubbed some Inka Gold metal gloss paint on some surface.
And added some patina effect paste too.
Hope you like it!

Maritime
We start a new challenge today at Try it on Tuesday and the theme is:
Stencils / Die Cuts or Both

What materials, style and mediums etc... that you use, is as always entirely up to yourselves.
Have fun, we are looking forward to seeing how you interpret this theme .
My take on the theme is a maritime tag.
I made my own background with acrylic paints, then added some stenciled structure paste and some stamping.
To embellish my tag I used an anchor die cut and the fish were cut from a very nice tea packaging ( you know- I love to recycle things).
Hope you like it!

Natures Beauty
We start a new challenge over at Try it on Tuesday.
For the next two weeks our theme is: Natures Beauty.
Think about flowers. plants...animals.... scenes etc... and enjoy
the beauty of nature .
As always what you make, the style, mediums, materials etc.
is entirely up to yourselves.
Please pop over to the main blog and get inspired by the beautiful
makes of my teamies.

My take on the theme is a bookmark with stenciled background and stamped flowers and plants.
I was inspired by the beautiful sunset colours I have seen one day.

In the Meadow
Our new challenge over at Stamps and Stencils for the next month is hosted by Rachel.
She wants to see your interpretation of the theme In the Meadow which could involve lots of grasses, wildlife or whatever you think.
Just make sure you use stamps, stencils or both in your make!
The design team have created some amazing inspirational projects, so please pop over and take a look.
I hope you will join us as I’m looking forward to seeing all of your creations!
My take on the theme is a page in an old book I use for an art journal.
I made some masterboard earlier and a piece of it served as my background.
I was inspired by the look of a meadow in a hot, summer day.
That's why I first made the shadows of the plants with black gesso and the stencil.
The shadows were outlined with white gelly roll pen.
The ,,proper" flowers were stenciled, fussy cut and glued to the background.
I outlined them too.
I attached the base to my page and finished it off by adding some stamping and some stickers.
