I used to live in a small town where gossip was the favourite activity of the citizens.
I have visited the town recently and found out that nothing has changed in this subject.
It was my inspiration for this page.

Boys will be Boys

I am very honored and happy to be the GD for UnstampaBelless today. 

                    

                                                          

My take on the theme: Boys will be Boys is an altered perfume box I made for my nephew's birthday present.

 I have used some ink through the stencil, some 

 

washi tape and die cuts from Rewind Collection by Kaisercraft along with die cut and embossed cogs.

Try Something New

is our new challenge theme over at Try it on Tuesdays

It could be a new stamp, or stencil, a new technique, die cut,   etc.

I have never made any moos before  and I must say it was really challenging  because of the tiny size( 1x3 inches).

altered book

It's the beginning of a new month and that means a brand new challenge over at
Mixed Media Mojo

I hope you will come and play along with our back to school theme this month!

My take on the theme is an altered book. 
It all started with a small(11x11cm) book from charity shop.

I glued the pages together using gel medium. Then I covered all with gesso, adding some paper doilies for the texture. As I wasn't very pleased with them I put some modeling paste through the stencil too.

I stamped the images with black ink on tissue paper and glued them with gel medium to the pages.

And then came the best fun: coloring with gelatos.

I also glued a little socle on the back.  The book looks better in this position.

To finish the whole piece I added butterflies stamped and embossed on vellum, some colored with gelatos flowers  and some stamping with gesso.

So pleased and honored to be a Guest Designer over at crafting by designs where the theme is

Things with wings.

I altered a craft envelope inspired by forthcoming fall.

You can see the whole process underneath:

1. Gluing some paper scraps on the craft envelope

2. Adding some texture paste through the stencil.

3. Covering all with white gesso.

4. Adding Dylusions inks and  Lindy's Stamp Gang mists.

5. Stamping with Archival Ink.

To finish the whole piece I glued some fussy cut images and outlined them with white Pitt Pastel.
