A Cup

It all started with a gift I got for Mother's Day this year.
I didn't like the look of a plastic cup so I decided to upcycle it a bit.
My son told me he has just expected it so he has bought an ugly one.

As I have been a mother over 37 years my cup would be rusty and worn up!

I started with building a composition of metal pieces , than covered all with black gesso.
Next step was adding rust effect by Stamperia.
Than it was time for metallic paint Gold Pearl from 13 Arts and Rose Gold from FolkArt.
I also used Patina Effect paint from Pentart.

I finished off my  piece with some  copper wire and beads.
