In two colours

Today we start a new challenge over at Try it on Tuesday

Back to school

Happy September! I can't believe it how fast time flies.

We have a new challenge over at Mixed Media Mojo.

The theme is ,,Back to school" and the twist is ,,Use primary colors''.

Today it is time for a new challenge over at Try it on Tuesday.

This time the theme is Children.

My take on the theme is an altered fish can. 

It is my fav item to alter.

I have used lots of chipboards and some metal elements along with an old photo. It is close to my heart as it shows my husband and his siblings in their childhood. Hope you like it.

Best

Today I am sharing a tag made of wall paper sample. I loved the texture of it so I decided to make a tag attached to a gift for my son. 
I started with stenciling some paint for the background:

Then it was time for gluing some digi stamps printed on tissue paper.

Next some stenciling with alcohol  inks.

I finished the tag stamping  some of my rubber stamps, metal embellishment and lettering The Absolute Best( meaning my son of course).

A bag

All my friends know I love to recycle.
That's why the idea of Lessology challenges is very close to my heart. 
As I hoard lots and lots of labels and packaging and what's more I needed a bag for a gift I decided to alter one and join in the challenge.

Here you can see some of the things I used to embellish my bag.

Never give up

I have made a kind of home decor for my new home.

I thought I could show you a few steps:

  

Started with an old manual book.

I hollowed it out a bit with a sharp knife.

                                                            

Arranged some decoration including  a flower, some thread, scraps and metal parts.

Gessoed all, stamped with writing stamps and put some shimmer texture paste through the stencil.

                                                             

Coloured all with Lindy's Stamp Gang mists.

Finished all with black and white ink splashing.

I also glued a metal hanging at the back.
