For a Wedding

Today I'd like to show you a Wedding Card I've recently made.
Unusually without any medias or stamps.
The sentiment means: For a Young Couple.

The card goes with a  matching box with a subtle embellishment.

I am thrilled to have been invited to guest design for Stamps and Stencils.
Thanks bunches Ladies for this wonderful opportunity!

The theme of their current challenge is: Colour, Texture, Shape  and they have a beautiful picture inspiration board for you!

                                      

I was inspired by two things from the moodboard: lace and metal parts.

My starting point for this project was an oval passepartout which I filled with some lace.

Next some texture paste was stenciled on the surface.

When it was dry I covered all with white gesso.

I mounted some wire with beads on it, some chipboard elements, flowers and leaves.

Then I started to colour the piece with Gelatos and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.

I also rubbed some Metallic Gilding Wax to the background, mounted a small button and a metal frame with a sentiment. 

A playing angel's image completed my work. 

To finish off I decided to give more interest to the background by strewing some microbeads and doing some stamping. 

I needed another passepartout on the back and some wire to complete my hanger.

Let it shine!

The  new challenge theme today over at TRY IT ON TUESDAY

is LET IT SHINE.

                                              

We are not giving you any prompts this time and we have all

had fun making our pieces to share with you all.

Remember what you make,  the, style, the medium, materials  etc

that you use is entirely up to yourselves as long as you use the theme.

My take on the theme is a tag I made from a masterboard done earlier.

I simply stamped the background and the sun, fussy cut it and mounted on the craft bag as I needed it for a gift. 

Create

I have altered an oval passepartout and mounted it on the back of an old photo frame. 

I used assemblage technique to compose a brush, a button, chipboards, some metal parts and wire. 

The background was also made from chipboards, painted black and coloured with Inka Gold metal gloss paints.

It is a gift for a young artist to encourage her to paint more.

A Tag

TAGS is our new theme over at Try it on Tuesday. 

As always how you interpret the theme,  the materials and  style  you use

is entirely up to yourselves as long as we can see a TAG on its own or on your project.

                                                 

My tag is rather simple. I used a piece of  linen sash with interesting prints for my background. I simply glued it to the cardboard.

Next it was coloured with Gelatos.

I added some chipboard stitches and some Prima embellishments.

                                                       

And I just love the saying!
