Today I'd like to share with you a tag I made inspired by a  mini challenge at more than words blog.

                                                     

I started with preparing my background with gluing and colouring some pieces lace. The edges were hot embossed-  I have never done this before with lace but it turned out very nice.

My dragonfly is actually  a price tag from a new bought blouse.

I have put some  paste with a stencil and added 3D balls for an extra texture.

The whole thing was coloured with various inks and mists.

To finish it off  I rubbed some metallic vax here and there.

Book cover

I have a great pleasure to be a host of a current challenge at

Stamps and Stencils.

Our current theme is "Do judge a book by its cover". 

This time I have altered the cover of an old magazine.

I 've started with carving a ,,window"in the cover.

I made my own papers using the pages from the magazine, acrylic paints, stencils and gelli plate.

Than I collaged my papers onto the cover.

These were the metal parts I wanted to arrange in the window.

The rectangle is an old belt buckle.

I highlighted the area with gesso and still not sure if it was a good idea.

I added a few things: some stamping, lettering and outlining with inktense pencils.
