Layer it Up......

is the new challenge theme over at Try it on Tuesday

                                              

We would like you to use lots of layers on your entries

As always what you make,  the mediums and style you use is entirely up to yourselves, as long as you keep to the theme.

I have altered a mini (10 cm) whisky bottle. 

Here are just a few of the stages:

Butterfly

Hi! Today I want to share an altered plastic butterfly hanging. 
I used a piece of lace which I fussy cut and glued to the surface to add some texture.
The whole piece was covered with gesso and treated with Gelatos.
Then Deco Art Crackle Glaze was applied both to wings and the chipboard spoon.
To finish off I added some metal parts from my junk.

There is a new challenge over at Try it on Tuesday.
Our theme for the next two weeks is: Trees are Green or.....any other color.

Yes we know trees are usually green, but have some fun if you would like to use some other colours.

Sto Lat!

It is 1st November today and it means a new challenge over at Mixed Media Mojo. Our theme is Autumn with the twist Metallics.

My take on the theme is a Bday card I have made using the chocolates package,

simply because I liked the texture of it a lot.

I have used lots of Inka Gold  metal gloss paint( Apricot and Copper) and also

Metallic Gilding Wax (Deep Red). The background was also stamped for more textured look.

I've also stamped and fussy cut the leaves.

The main panel is a part of a masterboard I made earlier.

To finish off I added a metal leaf, some twine and red ,,berries''.
