Meadow in October

The new challenge over at  Try it on Tuesday starts today.
This time we want you to show us LOTS OF LAYERS.

I am sharing this journal page  .... enjoyed playing with colorful autumn palette.

For more depth I have used some textile  mesh from the florists.

There are lots of layers I made with stencil and texture paste.

I also stamped some plants images and used die cuts too.

Today I wanted to share a journal spread I made for lets get arty challenge-68.
The theme was  'dots and outlines'.

W odwiedziny do przyjaciół postanowiłam zabrać wino i opakować je niebanalnie.

Torebkę z tektury falistej ozdobiłam skrawkami papieru, gazy, koronki, tekturkami i metalowymi elementami. Dodałam też kwiaty i wycinanki.

Całość została pokryta gesso i pokolorowana przy pomocy farb akrylowych, Glimmer Mists oraz tuszy Dylusions.

Angel of Autumn

Today is 5th October and it means a new challenge over at The Mirror Crack'd.

I am the hostess of this challenge and I picked the theme WALL HANGING.

If you don't fancy a wall hanging we have a Tic, Tac, Toe board for you to choose from. If you want to do the wall hanging, it's the centre square, then you do NOT need to do the squares either side of it, unless you fancy challenging yourself even further. Or you could pick any of the lines around the outside and miss out the wall hanging altogether. If you use the Tic, Tac, Toe, please tell us in your post which line you have used.

My take on the theme is an Angel of Autumn made with Powertex Textile Hardener. I made it during fantastic workshops at Galeria Niespodzianki

It is a kind of textile sculpture.

I didn't take any pictures during the process as it was very messy and dirty work. You can read about it here.

It is Tuesday again and that means another challenge over at Try it on Tuesday.
This time our theme is AUTUMN. There are many ways you could interpret this one from Autumn Colours,  Leaves, Trees   etc...........

My take on the theme is a mixed media card. For the background I have used some acrylic paints along with stencils. I also stamped and gold embossed some leaves. The focal point is a chipboard, painted and embossed, some gold wire and red beads.

autumnal colours

I am sharing a card inspired by autumnal colours.
The background is made with acrylic pearlescent paints, using the stencil.
The flowers are from Prima. I also added some altered die cuts and metal embellishments.

metal frame

The new challenge at Try it on Tuesdays  starts today.

This time our theme is Add some METAL.

What you make is entirely up to yourselves as long as you follow our theme.

Show us what you can make for the Add Some Metal challenge this time.

I altered a metal frame by gluing lots of metal parts to it: some old jewellery, buckles, cogs and some letters.

Here you can see the whole piece gessoed. The final step was to give it some colour  with Dylusions ink sprays.

The frame was a birthday present for my sister and I was delighted to see she liked it very much.
