So Fortunate...

       

I am proud and thrilled to bits to be a part of the newest Craft Stamper issue, for the first time as a designer!!!

I'm also sharing a sneak peek of my project.

Take Notes

I would like  to share with you a small( 11x11cm) notebook, which cover I have altered.
The cover is made from faux leather and it is the first time I have worked with such material and have to admit all went nice and easy.

I take off the cover and primed all with gesso. I added some texture paste through the stencil.

I started colouring with various Distress Inks. 

Next I gave it a coat of  Deco Art Crackle Glaze to make the background more interesting.

In the meantime I coloured some pieces of  lace ( also with Distress).

 To finish my project off I added some scripture stamping, lace pieces and chipboard dragonfly which I have hot embossed.

Today is the start of a new challenge at Try it on Tuesday where we will look forward to seeing your entries for the Feathered Friend Theme.
Our  team have come up with lots of different one so do pop over to the blog and have a look.
   
                            


This time my take on the theme is  a journal page.

This is a second makeover of this cardboard box.
The first one was damaged during my moving.

I glued some kind of mesh to the whole background and  also stenciled some gesso. 

The frame was made from cardboard.

There were  some crumpled paper pieces mixed up with texture paste added. 

To finish off my project I made a composition of flowers, chipboard and pieces of gauze. 

I have coloured the whole piece with gelatos, Dylusion ink sprays and silver metal gloss paint. The text stamp was used too.

Headgears

I want to share with you a new journal page inspired by a challenge at moo-mania- HEADGEARS.
This is the very first page in my new mini art journal (14x10cm).
The colours also  suit rubberdance: may challenge.
I will link it to art journal journey as well, where the theme is elegance&grunge



                                   

Dare to Fly

Today it is time for a new challenge at Try it on Tuesday. 

 Little things mean a lot is our new theme.

Make something that measures no more than 4 inches (10.16cms) square,

it doesn't have to be square, but would have to fit into the square shape.

It would be a good idea to show a ruler measuring the piece in the photo. 

                                           

My take on the theme is an altered cardboard  box. 

I put some lettering ,,dare to fly'' there and don't know why it is so blurry ( only in the picture). ☺
