Found Objects

The current topic at Paper Artsy blog is FOUND OBJECTS and I would like to join in with the object I recently found in an old book. 
Believe it or not-  it is over 20 years old dried flower I got from my deceased husband.
I used to dry the flowers he gave me. 
Lots of wonderful and touching memories.

I started preparing the background with my latest faves- ecolines.

Then I used white texture past with the stencil.

I stamped a frame around my piece and attached the flower with mat heavy gel medium.

Then it was time for another found object- the back of the old calendar.

I painted it with Dylusions melted chocolate paint, stamped with Archival Ink and rubbed some Inka Gold copper metal paint.

I finish off my piece adding some crackle glaze on the edges, a metal heart and a chipboard word- memories.

Heritage

I liked the challenge theme over at tag tuesday.
It is Heritage . 
I treat the subject very wide- made the tag showing a polish engineer  Tadeusz Wenda.
Thanks to him my hometown Gdynia transformed from a village and seaside resort to a lively town with most modern harbour in 1920s. 
As a background I used a reprint the original engineer's permit.

Set me free

I have been playing with Ecolines recently and can not stop. 

Another piece I used for my background was die cut.

The Face

Today I want to share with you my piece called the Face.
I have recently played with Ecolines - liquid water colours, while creating the background. What a fun it was!
I also added some stenciling and stamping along with gluing some pieces of rice paper. To finish off I added some wooden stars, hot embossed earlier. 
They symbolize tears: so shiny and precious.

for Maya

My granddaughter Maya loves little ponies. It's a pity because in the contrary I think they are very ugly. I wanted to make a gift for her showing another kind of pony.

And you know what? She loved it!

In my shadow box I used the metal shape of a horsie my older son cut for me.

It was covered with texture paste through the stencil. 

I started with a piece of paper , various sprays and a brayer. 

Then I added some stamping to the background  and framed the picture.

To finish off I added a horsie and some metal elements

A Quote

I'm on time today☺! And it's high time to start our new challenge over at Try it on Tuesday

This time our theme is Add a Quote. I hope you will join us with your beautiful pieces.

                                            

I have altered one of my favourite things to make awesome- a crafty gift bag. 

I started with stamping some text stamp to make a frame. 

Then I added some die cuts- I made them from an old box so it is another thing recycled.

I finished my project with stenciling some embossing paste, hot embossed later.

I love the quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson and hope you will like it too.
