Remember

A Vintage  Photo is our new theme at Try it on Tuesday for the next two weeks. 

                                     

My take on the theme is a wall hanger I made for my Mum.

The background is made with stenciled Wendy Vecchi embossing paste, later embossed.

I have also used resin flowers- later coloured, chipboard butterflies, some lace and some metal elements (corners and a plaque) to embellish the piece. The corner tiles were rusted  and the plaque altered.

has challenged us all  at Try it on Tuesday this time with her Mood Board.

This is the information she has given us, to help interpret  this theme

Let yourself be inspired by the images and colours of spring. Think of the soft colours of the first flowers, the wonderful green of newly opened buds and leaves, the soft and fluffy whites of the young lambs and the swan's feathers, and the blue of a spring sky.Use some of these colours or ideas in your project.

My take on the theme is an art journal page.

I started with gluing some tissues to the background.

                                              

Adding some stamping.

 Stenciling some texture paste.

Spraying some mists to the background.

I finished my page by adding some images and a part of my fav poem about spring. I have also used Inktense pencil to outline the background.

My take on the theme was recycling of a sardine can.

I love altering cans. This is my 5th altered piece.

This one is quite small- around 5x10 cm.
