Today I want to share another MDF heart I have altered. There were some leavings of paper on the heart, but I thought it would give more interesting texture to the background so I left them.
I started with giving the whole surface a coat of heavy crackle paint from Deco Art. Then I arranged some metal parts from my ,,junk drawer'' including an old earring with a nice chain tassel.
I also added a metal flower and some chipboard flowers. All elements were glued with gel medium and given a coat of gesso.
Then I started to colour the heart with acrylic paints and mists.
I also rubbed some metallic gilding wax and metal gloss paint on it and stamped some crackles with black ink.
I added a vintage trinket from Prima( love it) and finished the whole piece with a lot of ink splashing.
