Today I am sharing a monochromatic card made with dry embossed backround which I have coloured with gelatos. I added some die cuts, hand made flower( also coloured) and a ribbon
( hope you can see it).
Some pearls, twig, gauze and splatters of ink was added to embellish the card.

When I saw this tutorial I immediately wanted to give it a go. 

So, here it is... an umbrella to protect you from all misfortune.

The background, made with lots of  mixed media started  from plain cardstock.

I glued the torn pages from an old book and pieces of ribbon for the texture.

Then I coated all with gesso and put the modelling paste through the stencil.

Next I coloured all using gelatos and mists. I also heat embossed some areas.

Hats

Try It On Tuesday's new challenge is now open and* HATS* is the theme for the next two weeks. We would like to see a 'hat' on our entries. As always how you interpret the theme and what you make is entirely up to yourselves as long as you have followed the theme.
This is my first contribution as a part of DT.
I have made it during the workshop with marvelous Magda Polakow.
I made an art journal page inspired by my father. The way he dresses always makes me laugh. He is 80 and the quotation of O. Wild is his favourite one. 
Because he is  birds' admirer I have choosen a bird image for my page.

My tag started from white cardstock which I have spritzed with some mist and water using watercolor smooshing technique. Then I stamped the flowers.

Next I add some gesso using the stencil , again add some colours and another stamps.

Zainspirowana wyzwaniem,, zapach" na blogu scrapki-wyzwaniowo natychmiast przypomniałam sobie przecudny wiersz Tuwima i oto jest mój mały ( 8cm) wytwór.
Podarowałam drugie życie małej buteleczce po perfumach więc zgłaszam ją też na wyzwanie 123scrapujty:drugie scrapowe życie.
Papier serwetkowy, którym oklejona jest buteleczka został postemplowany, potraktowany embossingiem i pokolorowany mgiełkami i tuszami.
Tekturka też jest, więc poleci na diabelskie wyzwanie z stempell i kartoon.

Kolejny tag na wyzwanie na blogu justtagit: kwiaty

ATC

The theme at mixedmediamojo challenge is ATC and the twist is ,,set of two".
I started with dry embossing the cardstock, then misting and inking through the stencil.
Next I added some tissue paper with gel medium and masked all with a bit of gesso.
Some stamping  and inking at the end and ...here it is!

There is a new challenge at The Mirror Crack'd blog  and our theme is WINGS.

My take on the theme are art journal pages I made using gesso, modelling paste, gel medium and embossing paste. I have also used lots of inks and mists and gold embossing enamel.There is also a bit of collaging using paper and tissue paper.

I love recycling, upcycling, giving new life to old items. 

This time I have choosen a plastic container and change it to a vase.

I used some old magazine pages for my background. It was glued to the container with  gel medium.

Than I added some embellishments: real twigs painted white, pieces of lace, handmade flowers with leftovers from my old bracelet.

 

 

I gave all a coat of gesso and coloured using inks and mists.

Jakiś czas temu spotkałam się z Evi na scrapowym wieczorze i według jej wskazówek zrobiłam swoje pierwsze LO. 

Nie jest to dla mnie łatwa forma, ale powoli ją oswajam.
