Today at Mixed Media Mojo I am sharing a quick and easy way to wrap your Christmas presents.

I have a wintery project to share with you today.... 

I have made a layered (7 layers) cardboard snowflake full of  blinge and sparkle.

Lots of gesso, modeling paste and frosted lace stickles was used to embellish the different die cuts, put together with acrylic gel medium.
It will find place in my kitchen window.

Today I am sharing a journal page where I tried my hand in collaging using old papers and magazines.
It is meant for art-journal-journey where the topic is collage+ journaling.

 Can you believe it's the end of the year already? 
It is time for our December challenge at Mixed Media Mojo and the theme is 
 Sentiment with a twist to NOT use red or green!

                                                             
                                                             

My take on the theme is a small (8,5 cm) hanging. Made of MDF, it was given 
a coat of tissue paper and  silver embossing.
Next I used my Gelatos to colour the background. I added some stamping on the tissue paper and die cut letters. The coat of gold texture paste was given to them and the tiny stars.

box

Bags and Boxes is the  new challenge theme over at Try it on Tuesday.

 For some inspiration from our team pop over to the blog.

My take on the theme is an altered box I'm going to use as a Christmas gift box. 

It' s a very simple make over:

                                                              

just glued some papers, added some decoration pieces and some splashing of white gesso here and there.

Today I want to share with you an altered lid from a mason jar with 8 cm diameter. I turned it to a fridge magnet for my sister's kitchen.

I started with priming all with gesso, then covered the lid with texture paste through Tim Holz  stencil. I coloured all with Inka Gold paints: apricot and cooper and applied rust effect mixture from Stamperia.  

The gypsum angel was also coloured this way. 

To finish my fridge magnet I added some coloured and glittered chipboards, die cuts and plastic berries.

There is a lot of sadness surrounding me nowadays.
But there are also better moments when I am walking down my  memory lane and thinking of good times in my life. 
I can remember my childhood when I was waiting for Christmas Eve to come.
There were also some very old, beautiful tree ornaments which belonged to my Great Grandmother.
I was inspired by them when I altered this craft envelope.
I transferred the images from the napkins onto the tags with gesso. 
Stenciled some texture paste, added  some stamping, heat embossed some snowflakes. There was also some inking and misting used. 
I am going to use the envelope as a package for a book I bought for a Christmas present.

Sad Angel

Today I want to share with you my next angel made with brown Powertex textile hardener.

I didn't take any pictures during creating as the process is very, very messy. 
I used old cotton textil pieces along with bandage and tulle to make the dress and wings. The wood parts are also found at my store room. 

After drying the figurine was painted with old gold acrylic paint.

Hello everyone! It is November 1st today and it means a new challenge over at
Mixed Media Mojo.

Our theme is Fall and our optional twist is Metallic! 

                                                             

I have altered another fish can this time. What a fun!
I have also some stages of the process documented.

  

Love working with gesso, gelatos and mists.

At the end I added some metal parts, plastic berries and a stamped lettering.

Meadow in October

I am sharing this journal page  .... enjoyed playing with colorful autumn palette.

For more depth I have used some textile  mesh from the florists.

There are lots of layers I made with stencil and texture paste.

I also stamped some plants images and used die cuts too.

Today I wanted to share a journal spread I made for lets get arty challenge-68.
The theme was  'dots and outlines'.

W odwiedziny do przyjaciół postanowiłam zabrać wino i opakować je niebanalnie.

Torebkę z tektury falistej ozdobiłam skrawkami papieru, gazy, koronki, tekturkami i metalowymi elementami. Dodałam też kwiaty i wycinanki.

Całość została pokryta gesso i pokolorowana przy pomocy farb akrylowych, Glimmer Mists oraz tuszy Dylusions.

Angel of Autumn

Today is 5th October and it means a new challenge over at The Mirror Crack'd.

I am the hostess of this challenge and I picked the theme WALL HANGING.

If you don't fancy a wall hanging we have a Tic, Tac, Toe board for you to choose from. If you want to do the wall hanging, it's the centre square, then you do NOT need to do the squares either side of it, unless you fancy challenging yourself even further. Or you could pick any of the lines around the outside and miss out the wall hanging altogether. If you use the Tic, Tac, Toe, please tell us in your post which line you have used.

My take on the theme is an Angel of Autumn made with Powertex Textile Hardener. I made it during fantastic workshops at Galeria Niespodzianki

It is a kind of textile sculpture.

I didn't take any pictures during the process as it was very messy and dirty work. You can read about it here.

It is Tuesday again and that means another challenge over at Try it on Tuesday.
This time our theme is AUTUMN. There are many ways you could interpret this one from Autumn Colours,  Leaves, Trees   etc...........

My take on the theme is a mixed media card. For the background I have used some acrylic paints along with stencils. I also stamped and gold embossed some leaves. The focal point is a chipboard, painted and embossed, some gold wire and red beads.

autumnal colours

I am sharing a card inspired by autumnal colours.
The background is made with acrylic pearlescent paints, using the stencil.
The flowers are from Prima. I also added some altered die cuts and metal embellishments.

metal frame

The new challenge at Try it on Tuesdays  starts today.

This time our theme is Add some METAL.

What you make is entirely up to yourselves as long as you follow our theme.

Show us what you can make for the Add Some Metal challenge this time.

I altered a metal frame by gluing lots of metal parts to it: some old jewellery, buckles, cogs and some letters.

Here you can see the whole piece gessoed. The final step was to give it some colour  with Dylusions ink sprays.

The frame was a birthday present for my sister and I was delighted to see she liked it very much.
