gingerbread

Today I am very honored to be a Guest Designer at
Try It On Tuesday with the theme: Christmas is coming!
Thank you ladies for giving me the amazing opportunity to share my work.

Walking down the memory lane I can still smell the gingerbread backed at home for Christmas- that's why I 've made a bit nostalgic decoration.
That's an altered frame with a plastic shape covered acrylc modeling paste through the stencil. I heated the paste to make it convex. Than lots of ink, mist and gelatos was put on it. I decorated it with a felt cut cookie.

flower-power angel

This Cristmas decoration started as a gypsum figure hoarded for ages  and a box of halvah no hoarded at all.
First the angel got a good coat of gesso, then I glued torn tissue paper and then the fun with misting and colouring with gelatos started.
The box was embossed and splashed too.

M is for Mum

I

Today I'm sharing a birthday gift for my Mum- an altered plastic heart.
Here are my supplies:

First I have covered the heart with gesso, then I made paper transfer. Beeing not satisfied with it I glued some  lace and gave it another coat of gesso. Then it was time for various mists and gelatos- the best part of the play.I cut the letter M from the cardboard and embossed it. The final touch: some flowers, leaves and a twine bow.

season's greetings

I started out with a white piece of canvas paper. I glued some paper scraps to receive some texture and then covered all with gesso. Then it was time to colour it with uncountable amount of different  inks, mists and finally gelatos, spritzing water and wipping all the time.
The snowflake was painted with Inka gold, brocade and the centre was heat embossed.
The metal bow is from the old broch. I finished my project with adding a stamped sentiment  and splashing some white ink on.

I am submitting my card to the following challenges:

Christmas decoration

Get messy with our third challege starting today at
The Mirror Crack'd .
The theme is mixed media  CHRISTMAS DECORATION
This month with the silly season rapidly approaching we would like you to show us your skills in creating something to decorate your Christmas.
I am sharing an altered gift box - it can also be a part of the decoration, cant' it?

I covered the box in gesso. The texture was created using the stencils and little plastic stars.
Then I stamped the details and embossed them.
I sprayed  my favourite colours of Tattered Angels mists and  I covered the box with ,,snow ''.

For the snow I mixed gesso with baking soda- it works!
Then I embelished the box with a resin camea, some feathers, brocade snowflakes and pearls.
